Oh big day today, not so much here but in Brisbane, well apart from the fact that it is the first day of the first test of course, all our furniture and belongings is now on its way down South. I think Brian was much relieved to have that all finished poor thing.
I must remember to tell the builders it's on its way now. Not much time left and still so much to do.
The weather has turned wet and cooler over the last couple of days so I have not been able to get too much done in the garden. Luckily the builders have lots to do inside to prepare for the tiler who should be in next week. I hope once the tiler is in the guys can then get on with the cladding outside. We really seem to be taking it right down to the wire but forever the optimist I am sure it will be ok. If we do manage to get in on the 10th we still have another couple of weeks before Nick and Trish arrive and of course Christmas so that hopefully will mean we have time to get a little organised.
Tonight is the big lighting of the Christmas tree down on the shores of the Mersey, if the weather is kind. Then Friday through to Sunday is the Devonport show so lots going on over the next few days.
