Well I thought this was going to be a quiet day, but by the time I go to the house the electrician had questions so too the builder.
I had time for about 3 hours in the garden, I am trying to clear the patch where there are some very old raspberry canes, however together with the canes there is also grass that stands about 6ft tall (no exaggeration). It is hard going trying to get the grass out and not disturb the canes, then Brian let me know that I need to cut out the old canes and tie up the new ones, goodness so much to learn. After three house I felt really hot and dirty, weather has been lovely, clear blue skies and I would say about 20 but our North facing garden is a real sun trap. Anyway I didn't think I could go and visit the pregnant cat in that state so after a quick shower I called in. Coco is a miniature of our coco, she is due to have her kittens on about the 16th Dec, so I have put Brian's name down and he can go and pick one, will let you know the result of that.
I called back to the house as it is just down the road and just as well as the fly screen man was there working away, the screens look really good they are roll away screens on the bifolds and french doors as well as the single doors, I'm really pleased, thinking about it I expect coco's kitten will be please as well!!
I have been given strict instructions from the builder to go shopping for door furniture, hinges handles etc. I didn't realise is could be so complicated so I hope there is a nice man at the shop who takes pity on me.
Hope to get to Don Market on Sunday, Don is a little village just the Devonport side of Forth. It is also where you can get the historic train that runs between Don and Penguin. If you know anything about James the red engine and friends Henry Harriet etc you will be able to imagine what they look like.
Ok time for a glass of wine,
Bye for now
